Pre-op Meds: Ancef or clindamycin

Anesthesia: General

Patient position: typically supine, rare cases prone

Bed position: No turn

DVT ppx:  compression boots on and working BEFORE induction of anesthesia

Side Table: Fat processing table

Lights: Overhead

Power: No

Bovie Settings: 20/20 Colorado tip

Preinjection: Tumesce donor site

Prep: Chloraprep all areas except face. Betadine for face.

Drapes: Split sheet with area to be harvested cut out and covered w/ towels, stapler

Instrument sets: Soft tissue set

Special Instruments: Tulip and Coleman cannulas for harvest and injection, Lots of Telfa gauze, 

Devices/Implants:

Hypodermic needles:

Syringes: 60cc, 3cc, and 1cc syringes. Red caps for Luer lock syringes, suction holders for 60cc syringes.

Drains: None

Suture: 5-0 monocryl RB-1, 5-0 fast gut P3, 6-0 prolene taper needle

Anesthesia on field: 1% lidocain w 1/100k epi

Dressing: none
